Two Bellevue College students were named to the All-Washington Academic Team, which recognizes top students from the state’s community and technical colleges. Casey Pinckney, a math major at Bellevue College, and Anh Nguyen, a business major, have been named to the All-Washington Academic Team for their academic performance and community service.
Bellevue College hopes to convert hot coffee into hot meals, as they raise money for the “Soup and Tutor” Program. The program provides hot meals and additional help with their studies for students who are short on money, according to a Bellevue College press release.

—Bellevue College is researching a possible four-year degree in information technology, and is looking for help from employers with an online survey about their needs in IT education and training. It’s a very early effort, but there is both need and precedence for the college to take this step.
