Nordin and his band will celebrate the release of their full-length album, “Earthrise,” with a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Stir it Up Cafe, 1335 11th Ave., Longview. There’s no cover charge.
Nordin is a 2011 graduate of Mark Morris High School. He was invited to be the guitarist for a choir at the renowned jazz program at Mount Hood Community College, which then shut down last year.
Nordin moved on to Bellevue College, where he is currently studying jazz performance, teaching and playing with school groups. He’s also is playing in a worship band for Mars Hill Bellevue church.
